NYC Parks... Battery and Flushing.

Before all these rainy days, I got the opportunity to get out and catch some sun in two great parks. One of them is located  in Lower Manhattan, where the financial district is placed. Battery Park is nice and it has some wide views of the Statue of Liberty and the new World Trade Center. It is a good place to walk but in comparison with Central Park, it is a green dot. The other Park, is way different but great as well, it is called, The Flushing Meadows. You will remember the place (maybe the pictures will tell you more) for U.S Open, Man in Black. The Park is huge, it has fountains, Old buildings, Meadows (ovbiously), Lakes, a Tennis Stadium and a big "planet earth" in the middle of it... I spent an afternoon there. I ran a little bit and had some pasta I brought from home.

Antes de todos estos días de lluvia, tuve la oportunidad de salir y tomar algo de sol en dos parque muy bacanos. Uno de ellos esta ubicado en la parte baja de Manhattan, donde esta el distrito financiero. Battery Park es bacano y tiene algunas buenas vistas de la Estatua de la Libertad y el nuevo World Trade Center (Torres Gemelas). Es un buen sitio para caminar pero en comparacion con Central Park es solo un punto verde. El otro parque es muy diferente pero brutal también. es llamado, Flushing Meadows. Lo recordaran por el U.S Open y Los Hombres de Negro. El parque es grandioso, tiene fuentes, viejos edificios, Praderas, lagos, un estadio de tenis y un gran "planeta tierra" en la mitad de el... Pasé la tarde allá. Corrí un poco y comí algo de pasta que traje de la casa.

(Arthur Ashe Stadium... The U.S Open is in September. I almost hit that date, it would have to wait for me)

(Yes, the Cockroach from Men in Black climbed those two towers and then took those things as space ships... Nowadays, those are just old and ugly buildings)

(Si, la cucaracha de los Hombres de Negro escaló esas dos torres y tomo esas cosas como naves espaciales... En estos días, esos son solo edificios feo y viejos)
