St. Giles Institute.

Yesterday was my first day in the English Institute, everything was perfect, cool people and teachers even cooler! I've been studying these two days with people from all over the world, a few classmates from Japan and Korea, 2 more from France and one Brazilian and one Mexican... As well as the students, the teachers come from many different places around the globe!

I couldn't take photos because i left the Memory Card at home.

Ayer fue mi primer día en el instituto de ingles, todo es perfecto, gente bacana y profesores muy bacanos también. He estudiado estos dos días con gente de todo el mundo, unos cuantos compañeros de Japón y  de Korea, 2 mas de Francia y una Brazileña y un Méxicano... Al igual que los estudiantes, los profesores también vienen de diferentes partes del mundo!

First Day Homestay.

I'm in the Home Stay already, it's a really nice house, american style if you know what i mean, Rodel is a very kind person as well as his family, they are form Philippines (their lenguage is something like "japanese-spanish"), also there is two more students in the house one form Brazil and other one is from Japan nice people too. I will start English class tomorrow at 8:45.

Ya estoy en el Home Stay, es una casa muy bacana,estilo americano, si saben de que estoy hablando, Rodel is muy amable al igual que su familia, ellos son de Philipinas (hablan un idioma que es como Japones-Español), además hay dos mas estudiantes en la casa, uno es de Brazil y el otro es de Japón, muy buena gentes también.  Mañana empiezo las clases de ingles a las 8:45.

Stanley Park.

Today's Afternoon was great!... Real Japanese Sushi at lunch (not like Sushi i used to eat in Medellin), then i went to Stanley Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world! it has 8.8 km of seawall roads.  I walked all of it in 3 hours or more, beautiful landscapes, a lot of fauna, people running and a lot of cyclist as well... Tomorrow i'm going to the Home Stay, far away from downtown Vancouver :(

La tarde de hoy fue muy bacana... Comí Sushi Japones (muy diferente al que como generalmente en Medellin), luego fui a Stanley Park, uno de los parques urbanos mas grandes del mundo! tiene 8.8 kilómetros de malecón. Lo caminé todo en 3 horas o un poco mas. Bellos paisajes, mucha fauna, gente trotando y mucha gente en bicicleta también.

Mañana voy para el Home Stay, queda un pocos lejos de el centro de Vancouver :( 

Look Around.

This is my first day in Vancouver, so much to see and so much to eat as well. The weather is perfect, a revitalizing cold.... The mountains are full covered by snow and the ocean is full of boats and birds.

Today i went to the English institute, really cool place, right in the center of everything.

Hoy fue mi primer día en Vancouver, hay mucho por ver y por comer. El clima es perfecto, es un frió revitalizante... las montañas están cubiertas de nieve y el océano de botes y muchas aves.

Hoy fui al instituto de ingles, muy bacano, cerca de todo.

Night #1 Vancouver.

After a long day in airports and airplanes, i finally arrived Vancouver at 2am (Vancouver time), in the airport, a very kind lady dropped me off in downtown. Then, waiting for the sun rise in a coffee place, Scott and Seth invite to stay in their home tonight... Really nice people!... After this, i going to Arman Sherif House (CouchSurfer).

Después de un día entero de aeropuertos y aviones, finalmente llegue a Vancouver a las 2 am (hora de Vancouver), en el aeropuerto una mujer muy amable, me dejo en el centro, luego esperando el amanecer en un café de esos que abren las 24 horas, Scott and Seth me invitaron a quedarme en la casa de ellos por esta noche...Una gente muy bacana!...Luego de esto voy para la casa de Arman Sherif (CouchSurfer)

First step.

Leaving Medellin kind of easy. But it's Never easy leave my family, my room and my friends. Well, it's just 8 months right?

Dejar a Medellin bastante fácil. Pero nunca es fácil dejar a mi familia mi cuarto y mis amigos. Pero bueno, solo son 8 meses.

Ready, set..Go!

Packing... Nice experience, really fun!  However the last two days before every trip are always long and full of stress and anxiety.

Empacando... Buena experiencia y además bastante divertido, sin embargo los últimos días antes de cada viaje siempre son largos y llenos de ansiedad y estrés.
